Cold Wax Medium is a combination of beeswax and damar resin with the
consistency of frosting. The medium is mixed with oil paint and applied with palette knives, squeegees and brayers. This painting has between 20 and 30 layers of color and numerous marks and scraping back to excavate and reveal previous layers and colors.
