"On one level this painting is a straight forward landscape painting where I wanted to show the expanse of our big sky country coupled with a different view of the land; one that shows the fertility of the soil. Showing how important and special our country is in it’s natural state before people alter it.
And then on another level, the painting was a comment on the feelings that happen and exist in relationships when things aren’t talked about. The unspoken emotions that fall into the spaces in between."
