Queen of the Mountains - Wildlife Photography

The Grizzly is the apex species that defines the untamed regions of the West.

Federally listed as threatened, Grizzly Bears were excessively overhunted, and now there are less than 1,500 grizzlies left in the United States.

Weighing 1000+ lbs the Grizzly Bear can be found in woodlands, forests, alpine meadows, and prairies in the western US.
