Genuine mahogany and curly maple. 

Marquetry image is made with both natural and dyed veneers. 

“Floor” layout and design made from individually hand cut and placed  3/8” x 1/8” curly maple strips of varying lengths. 

Background veneer is Rosewood with the marquetry images made with both natural and dyed veneers. 

Solid brass Brusso #JB-102 95 degree “stop” hinges.

Finish is 6 coats of satin lacquer and final coat of hand rubbed Renaissance paste wax.
